Our calamansi tree is putting out a ton of fruit this year. They are still a bit small but the flavor is delicious. The plant itself is a hybrid of a kumquat and mandarin orange and tastes like lime and orange together and is fabulous. I haven’t found a place that sells the fresh fruit around here so I planted one last year. I have it in a pot and it seems happy here though I did pull it into the house over the winter. Next, I want to get a kaffir lime tree.
