New year, big news! We’re getting married! I’ve been holding back until we got a little closer to the date, plus we weren’t quite sure what a wedding would mean for us. It’s a little complicated given we’re a binational couple and that it won’t be a legally recognized ceremony. Those are difficult realities to overcome but making it official to us, before our friends and family is what it is all. Neither of us had strong ideas about what we thought or envisioned our actual wedding to be but we’re getting there. It’s been a really great process so far and I can’t wait!! She’s a crazy wonderful girl and I’m one lucky bird. The big party weekend shakes down in May.

The photographs above were taken by Jade McCully. I had asked her to do a shoot with us last April. I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jade. She is amazing. We took the photos because we knew we were moving from Savannah and I wanted photos of us together where it all started. Additional thanks to Back in the Day Bakery who fed us well over those years and let us come in to their bakery for a few of the shots.
